Considering the huge demand for HDPE Silicon Duct required to establish the optical fiber cable connection, a HDPE Silicon Duct manufacturing plant has been set up in the financial year from 20-24 financial year.For the purpose of diversifying production and considering the huge demand for electric overhead conductors, service drop cables and bare / insulated wire, a modern plant was set up at a cost of Tk.25 crore per financial year. Test production has already begun. The plant is expected to start commercial production soon.
